  • Overview


    As one of our Production Support Engineers, you will be responsible for the continuity and availability of critical data infrastructure applications.



    You will contribute to our software’s success in several ways:

    • Creating, testing, and maintaining tools and features that enable and accelerate our ability to problem solve production client issues
    • Developing, testing, and maintaining tools for tracking and proactively identifying issues prior to client escalation
    • Taking point on critical issues reported by clients and driving the issues to expedient resolutions
    • Seeking input, collaborating, and discussing potential solutions with other engineers and other engineering teams to deliver fast and robust solutions
    • Supporting our deployed software by being on-call regularly and responding to critical issues in a timely manner
    • Writing and maintaining clear and concise documentation that enables efficient problem identification and categorization
    • Collaborating and communicating both internally with other teams and externally with clients directly


    We expect familiarity with:

    • Object-oriented programming in at least one language
    • SQL
    • Adaptability and problem solving

    We'd love a candidate with familiarity with:

    • Debugging on the Java Virtual Machine
    • Scala
    • Kibana
    • Amazon Web Services
    • Docker, Apache Mesos, and other similar containerization systems
    • Apache NiFi ecosystem
